Hi, my name is Dr. Danae Tracey. I grew up in the Lower Mainland, completed my undergraduate degree at Trinity Western University and went on to graduate from UBC Medical School. I was privileged to complete my Family Medicine training here in Abbotsford, and right away knew I was at home in such an amazing medical community and city. From the beginning of my medical training, I have always had an interest in and love for obstetrics… and as long as I can remember I have always held such awe at what those ‘bumps’ embrace and protect!
I am very fortunate, as a general family practice physician, to have a large part of my focus be maternity care. I find such joy in caring for patients from birth and across all stages of life! It truly is an honour to walk with so many families through what is perhaps the best and/or hardest moments in life.
As for myself, I am married and have two energetic young boys who made me a mom and changed my world for the better. You can find our family enjoying warm lake days in the summer, rainy cartoon days in the winter, and most importantly sacred nap times in the afternoon!
